In an effort to make our classes accessible to everyone, we offer a work exchange program to our community. Work is completed at the studio in one-hour increments and will be scheduled weekly. Each participant has the opportunity to sign up for scheduled time slots and activities that they can choose. Each hour worked will be exchanged for one free class.
Prerequisites are:
* You must attend at least 4 classes at the studio before joining the program
* You must review policies and plan for work exchange program with our work program director, Lydia
* You must must be able to work a minimum of 1 hour per month for 2 consecutive months
Examples of work include:
* Sweeping the floor
* Mopping the floor (Double work credits for this job!)
* Cleaning the bathroom (Double work credits for this job!)
* Cleaning the glass windows at the front of studio
* Dusting the retail area
* Printing and folding brochures
* Taking inventory of retail products at front of store
* Folding blankets, wiping blocks and mats
* Assisting with special projects and events
